Blog Post “Staring Down A Busy Summer”
Yipes, it’s been a bit of a rebirth this spring with new chapters opening and some old chapters closing. I’m moving to new, less time-consuming volunteer work that will allow me more hours on my art practice, family, and health. I’m a little nervous coming into the season of Art Shows, a little more than a week at the St. Charles Fine Art Fair. With the world as unsettled as I am, I’m nervous about art sale results from the shows I’ve signed up for this summer, and I've diversified into teaching a few classes. I’m starting a four-week abstract class in June and a four-week Sketching Concertina class beginning in July, with July capping off with another art fair in Geneva, Ill.
I’d be delighted to see your happy face at my shows or classes. OK, this is my first blog, so I’m keeping it short and sweet. I invite you back weekly for updates and progress on classes and art as I continue my online journal.
